Note on size selection
8"x10" is usually suited for only one subject. The more subjects the smaller they will appear in the portrait and the less detail that will show.11"x14" is best suited for up to 2 subjects. It is also great for single subject projects as the larger size provides for greater detail.16"x20" is great for family portraits or if you are looking for something to hang in that special place in your home.Animals, cars & homes are also available, call for pricing.*If any photo editing is required add $25. Ordering Artwork
Select the size you would like from my pricing page.
Submit your request by calling Barbara Holmes-Fryefield (904) 200-8937. Provide any details of the portrait(s) you would like commissioned (ie number of subjects, size, medium, framing, etc). I will reply within 24hrs to discuss further and forward you my e-mail so that you can send me your photos.I will e-mail you an invoice for the 50% deposit where you can send in your payment. I will then create a mockup from your photos so that you can decide on the format and layout that suites you best. Once we decide on the mockup, I will start the commission posting an updates on this blog: Contact: artistpalette@hotmail.com where you can watch the progress of your portrait from you own personal url which you can share with family and friends. Once completed and you are fully happy with the portrait, I will invoice you for the balance owing. Once received, artwork can be picked up or I will ship your artwork. Note: Turnaround time for portraits is usually 2 weeks but can vary depending on the number of commissions I am working on. If you need the portrait for a specific date, please let me know. Please note that the copyright of all artwork resides with the artist Barbara Holmes-Fryefield of Artist Palette. Artwork must not be reproduced in ANY form without the express written permission of the artist. The artist reserves the right to use the images for promotional purposes on her website or on printed material.
FramingThe Exhibit frame is a clean black wood frame with clamps that fit securely in the back of the frame. These are the frames I use in all of my shows and exhibits as well as in my home. The frames are available in standard sizes, 8 x 10", 11 x 14", 16 x 20" etc., which includes the matt. Select the size you would like to inquire about for framing cost, maling or pick up.
